About Us

The IP / IT / Media Law Discussion Group (IPDG) was established by PhD students at Edinburgh Law School in 2013. The group meets on a regular basis to discuss current issues in intellectual property, information technology and media law.

These meetings are intended to be quite informal and are open to all students and faculty members. They generally begin with a 20-40 minute presentation by a researcher from either within the Law School or from outside, which provides the basis for an open discussion.
